How to launch a partner minisite in under 30 minutes
If you work with partners, you know the feeling: the launch date is locked, the announcement copy is ready…and the partner hub is still a Figma file.
This post walks through a 30‑minute partner minisite launch using MiniSite Host. No new repos, no Terraform PRs, just a URL your partner can share.
1. Agree on the job of the minisite
Before you touch tools, decide what this minisite should actually do. For most partner hubs, we see one of three goals:
- Awareness – a co‑branded announcement page with high‑level messaging.
- Enablement – a resource hub for sales decks, one‑pagers, and demo environments.
- Activation – a focused call to action (sign‑up, book a workshop, request access).
Pick one primary goal and write it in a single sentence. That sentence becomes your hero copy and anchors the rest of the content.
2. Export your minisite as static files
MiniSite Host loves static exports. You can:
- Export from your design system or CMS as a static bundle.
- Ask your design/dev partner for a simple HTML/CSS/JS package.
- Start from a template we provide and tweak the copy.
The only hard rule: everything must live in a folder or zip that MiniSite Host can store in Cloudflare R2.
3. Create the minisite in the dashboard
Once you have a bundle ready:
- Log into the MiniSite Host dashboard.
- Click “New minisite” and upload your folder or zip.
- Choose a slug – for example,
partners/your-brand-x-our-brand. - (Optional) Add a password if you want to soft‑launch with a small group first.
Behind the scenes, we’ll push the files into R2, wire up routing in our Cloudflare Worker, and issue SSL automatically.
4. Share with your partner team
You now have a real URL you can send to your partner:
https://yourbrand.minisite.host/partners/your-brand-x-our-brand
From here, we recommend:
- Embedding the link in your joint announcement email.
- Adding it to any co‑marketing materials.
- Sharing it with both sales teams as the single source of truth.
5. Iterate without a new project
The best part is what happens after launch:
- Need a new asset? Replace the file in a new upload, keep the same slug.
- Need a variant for another region? Clone the minisite, swap copy, and publish a new URL.
- Need to sunset the campaign? Archive the minisite and keep a record without juggling DNS.
MiniSite Host is built so that partner hubs feel disposable from an infra perspective but durable from a content perspective.
If you’re tired of filing tickets every time a partner wants a new URL, try this flow for your next launch and see how it changes the conversation.
